Abstract
Ontology application for employment or HR management is becoming an increasingly important task with the development of semantic Web technologies. With the expanding scale of online-recruitment, such failures as low search efficiency, precision ratio, and recall ratio emerge and become worse. According to the actual state, we propose an intelligent recruitment platform with a skill ontology-based semantic model and its matching algorithm, by which recruitment Web sites can automatically find the most appropriate job-seekers for a certain job post and positions for a job-seeker. This framework of semantic matching can also be applied to some other fields such as computer aided industry design and manufacturing information engineering
