Abstract :
A jamproof blood pressure measurement system is described. The reliability increased based on pulse signal simultaneous registration both from the arm with a compression cuff and from the other arm without one. The jamproof is achieved by use of correlation and spectral pulse signal processing. The criteria used for determination of the systolic and diastolic pressure are based on an electrical model of the biophysical processes in the squeezed blood vessel. The system was examined in extreme conditions of moving activity. For the first time, blood pressure was measured in conditions of physical loading with power up to 400 W.
