Abstract :
This paper starts from the conception and source of product identity system (PIS), discusses the concept, contents, functions and composing of it. The PIS is made up of three parts: product basic system, product application system and product promotion system. Product basic system included logo & product sign, form of product, material & texture of product and product operating. And product application system included product specified color, graphics & patterns and visual elements three parts. Finally it discussed PIS handbook and the applicable areas of PIS
