Abstract :
With the advent of the new phase of information technology, the computer technology and computer application become more and more popular. The characteristic and the recent development of the microcomputer finite element analysis system are introduced in this paper. Through the finite element program, a structural engineering instance is analyzed. The calculation process and results show that the finite element analysis program possesses excellent human-computer interaction interface, powerful pre-processing function, post processing function and the capacity of numerical calculation. It can truly simulate and analyze structure. The results also verified that the application of microcomputer finite element analysis system to structural engineering analysis is rational and feasible.
