            Abstract :
Piezoelectric constants (d33, dh, and d31) of 1-3 and 2-2 composites consisting of 0-3 subcomposites of polymer/PbTiO3 ceramic powder and polymer/PZT (lead zirconate titanate) ceramic powder were investigated in order to obtain a d31-zero, d33-zero, or dh-zero composite by changing the volume fraction of the subcomposites and giving them opposite polarities. Those subcomposites had different piezoelectric anisotropies but the same elastic-constant values. Good agreement between the theoretical and experimental results was observed
