Abstract :
In this paper a tool is presented for the support of qualitative inquiry modeling, a form of learning in which students learn by building qualitative models of phenomena they investigate and can compare the qualitative behavior of their models with the data they obtain from their experiments. The tool features qualitative modeling and an intelligent simulation formalism to relate the student´s model with the phenomenon that is studied.
