  • Abstract
This paper proposes a stepping on-time adjustment (SOTA) control method with status judgment for multichannel interleaving critical mode (CRM) boost PFC converter. The interleaved control is a trend for high power applications. However, conventional interleaved methods are complicated to implement when more than two channels are required. The SOTA method with status judgment is proposed to simplify the complex control in multi-channel applications. This method not only increases the stability, but also improves the dynamic response. In this paper, the simulation and experimental results of a 600W three-channel interleaved CRM boost PFC converter are shown to verify the feasibility of the proposed SOTA method.
