  • Abstract
    In this paper, a novel integrated circuit (IC) and system for smart grid applications is proposed that can harvest the renewable energy to support power to the direct current (DC) load and the alternative current (AC) load. In addition, an intelligent design and management tool is developed to design the proposed system and to judge the system operation situation for making the maintenance decision. Finally, the renewable energy harvesting system´s information will be posted in an online system. Users can thus get the proposed system´s information at any time and from anywhere. The accurate and excellent performance of the proposed IC and system is confirmed from the computer simulated and experimental results.
