Abstract :
In this paper we propose a new modulation scheme for impulse radio. This modulation shapes the signal spectrum in such a way that coexistence of ultra wide-band (UWB) and IEEE 802.11a devices is possible. Power spectral density of the UWB signal obtained by Welch periodogram method verifies analytical predictions
