Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a threshold-based frequency offset estimation scheme for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. By using the correlation threshold and coherence phase bandwidth, the proposed scheme not only provides the robust estimation performance to the timing offset, but also has the lower complexity than the conventional schemes. Numerical results confirm that the proposed scheme maintains the same level of estimation performance with the lower complexity than the conventional schemes.
