Abstract :
In this paper, we developed hybrid mode algorithms to hasten the convergence of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) equalizers with a cross-correlation cost function. In particular, we implemented a maximum a-posteriori (MAP) based single-input single-output (SISO) hybrid algorithm to this MIMO case and found that it exhibits superior performance in terms of the convergence speed and low steady state errors.
