Abstract
The design concepts for a positron camera detector with cross-coupled scintillators and quadrant sharing photomultipliers are shown. The preliminary result of decoding a matrix of 3×3 mm BGO (bismuth germanate) is shown. The preliminary result implies than an 8×8 matrix of 3×3 mm BGO can be decoded by an array of 25×25 mm square photomultiplier tubes
