Abstract :
This paper has experimentally investigated a new phase contrast filtering technique for synchronizing arrays of 3x3 and 4x4 ytterbium doped fiber lasers. Improvement in terms of power combining stability with respect to most of the standard cavity configurations has been characterized, and changes in the laser spectra as well.
