Abstract :
In view of ventilation problems of the mine excavation work areas, a new fuzzy control of mining local fan gas drainage system is introduced in the paper. The principle of the adjusting speed of local fan versus the gas concentration is analyzed, the control strategy used the three gas concentration signals and the air speed as input variables for the multi-input fuzzy controller, the output of which can change the frequency of converter in order to determine the speed of local fan, is discussed, the design method with the TMS320LF240DSP chip as its control core is also described, which enhances robustness of the whole system, and realizes the fuzzy control of the gas concentration by means of the adjustable velocity of mine local fan. The experiment results indicate that the suggested method has not only realized the normal ventilation and safe gas drainage in the driving work space, but also saved the power energy.
