Abstract
Most of the works on mode-locked systems exploit the quasi three-level system in order to obtain an emission between 1020 nm and 1080 nm [1-4]. The vicinity of 976 nm, corresponding to a true three level system has also been investigated [4-5]. Interesting challenges are the combination of broadband emission and high-energy pulse generation in a mode-locked regime.
