Abstract :
Mass customization-producing mode had higher demands to product designing courses. Product collaborative design system based on mass customization was designed in this paper, an architecture based on J2EE and engineering database was proposed. The data of the system were divided into global and local forms, while the global data were further classified as management data and engineering data. Management of the engineering database was carried out using the JSP+JavaBean technology. An Applet would communicate with I-DEAS under the CORBA protocol The Web style database management based on J2EE is a good resolution project in enterprise Web application, because the system has Java as supporter, and can decide design mode according to requirement to realize N layer application. The combination of Java and CORBA in this paper realizes PCDS based on J2EE multi-layer modularization enterprise application.
