According to expressway traffic features, heavy traffic, network fees, closed-end management, the author proposed one method which used to transportation volume Statistical projections by the data from toll station weight charging system. Secondly, the expressway traffic statistics information system is designed using the three core modules which are data cleaning, data projection and map showing. Finally, take the expressway traffic movement data of one province in China in 2009 as an example, made the application and verification of the statistical methods and information systems, the results showed that the statistical information system reached effective realization of the regional expressway network traffic statistics and analysis, with the features of human and financial fewer investment, practicality, feasibility and accuracy.
