  • Abstract
With the development of economies and continuous globalization progress of manufacturing industry, competition among manufacturing enterprises is increasingly fierce, the traditional manufacturing sectors can hardly bring about profits to enterprises and the competition around the tangible product can not meet the manufacturing enterprises to survive and develop. More and more manufacturers began to seek profit from service and transform from mainly providing product to mainly providing service. The development trend of servitization puts forward new demands for the design of product service system to the manufacturing enterprises, and manufacturers must consider their extending responsibility and manage the product life cycle. In this paper, beginning with analysis of the industrial value chain of manufacturing enterprises, we analyze the product life cycle management of product service system and the extension process of manufacturing enterprises´ responsibility in the product service system. We end this paper with a supply chain conceptual design model of the product service system.
