Abstract
In recent years, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) have drawn broad attention in scientific research, social services, military applications, which can be widely applied in tracking, environment monitoring, but offer interesting challenges to device and protocol designers due to WSNs, which is characterized by high propagation delay and low data rate. For instant and efficient data transmission, medium access protocol becomes a hotspot for reducing delay. In this paper we propose a new slot allocation scheme-simultaneous transmission based on time division multiple access(TDMA). Using the elements that simultaneous transmission by three hops nodes separated doesn´t induce conflict, it adopts the means that nodes three hops away occupy the same slot to reduce the time of data transmission and enhance network throughput. The simulation verifies the effectiveness of this mechanism and the digital simulation results prove that it can effectively improve network delay.
