Abstract :
An integrated multimedia supported intelligent video surveillance system is proposed. The system is aimed to alleviate the disadvantages of the existing video-surveillance kits and provides advanced search, notification, visualization and alarming functionality through integration of artificial intelligence, motion detection and tracking technology, multimedia databases and Internet/cell phone connectivity. The effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed concept is proven through experimental results on a real-life video sequence
