            Abstract : 
The scintillation properties of some Ce3+ and Pr3+  doped complex fluoride crystals of composition CsGd2F 7 and K2YF5 and of Pr3+ doped Y3Al5O12 single crystals were studied by means of X-ray and gamma ray excitation. The absolute light yield in photons/MeV is presented together with results from scintillation decay time experiments
