  • Abstract
    The mechanism of fabric-evoked prickle is introduced in this paper, the measurability of the pressure put on the skin by the fiber ends on the fabric is discussed, based on the analyzing of the distribution of the fiber ends on the fabric, the factors influencing the bending characteristics of the fiber-ends, and the interaction between the skin and the fabric. The qualitative and quantificational requirement of the instrument is put forward to measure this pressure, and on this foundation, a one-side compressing tester is designed to simulate the interaction between the skin and the fabric and measure the pressure put on the skin by the fiber ends on the fabric.
