  • Abstract
    Work in progress on the design and fabrication of a data collection circuit is presented. The design effort consists of structural and abstract models in VHDL. The current emphasis is simulation, while future plans include synthesis and prototype implementation. The data collection circuit design is flexible enough to read out the front end subsystems in the Solenoidal Detector Collaboration (SDC) proposal. A visual interface to VHDL can be used to describe the models to designers who are not familiar with VHDL
