Abstract :
Interference problem makes a significant impact on the performance of a mobile ad hoc network. The paper studies TDMA-based timeslot allocation to schedule links efficiently, and presents an efficient distributed timeslot assignment algorithm, which is used together with the route discovery mechanism of AODV to setup bandwidth-aware QoS routes B-AODV. Simulation results show that compared with the shortest path routing, our proposed QoS routing algorithm increases packet delivery ratio and improve end-to-end average packet delay.
