Abstract :
The design considerations and realization guidelines for a wideband EHF smart antenna are proposed. The antenna element implementation on a microstrip substrate is presented and preliminary experimental results are described. The analytical formulation of the algorithm to be used to implement the intelligence in the array is given and the overall system implementation is discussed.
