Abstract
Two different examples are considered to demonstrate the efficiency and flexibility of our domain-decomposition/reciprocity procedure for the analysis and design of body-mounted conformal antenna systems. The first example consists of a broadband, dual-armed Archimedian spiral antenna excited in two different modes, designed to operate from 6-9 GHz, and mounted on the endcap of a finite-length PEC circular cylinder. The second example consists of an array of square microstrip patch antennas, designed to operate at 2 GHz, mounted around the circumference of a generic missile platform with a nose cone and stabilizer fins.
