Abstract :
A new blind beamforming algorithm to fast track mobile nodes is proposed in this paper. The relationship between the direction of the nodes and the weight vector of the beamforming algorithm is deduced. Utilizing the continuity of the nodes´ trail in ad hoc network, the new method could initially estimate the direction of the nodes at the following moments from those obtained from the previous beamforming. Compared with the traditional algorithms forming beams independently at each time, our method could greatly speed up the following tracing and save the system much time. Simulation results confirm our ideas
