The success rate of ERP implementation has been low, and the root cause is the dynamic complexity in the process of ERP implementation. This paper researches the problems in the process of ERP implementation from both sides of implementation enterprise and software vendor based on Systems thinking theory. With the tools of systems archetypes, it analyzes the dynamic complexity of the process and gives the leverage points in view of the constraints problems. The paper aims at offering some references to ERP project implementation in China for the future.
