Abstract
Automated test case generation from use cases in early development phase is of great benefit to system testing. The paper proposes IFA (interaction finite automaton), a state based model concentrating on formulizing a system´s behaviors specified in use cases without knowing its internal structures. The algorithms for transformation from use cases to IFA and generating test cases from IFA are represented in detail. Based on these algorithms, test cases could be generated from use cases automatically. The supporting tool is also presented in this paper.
