Abstract :
An automated procedure for parameter extraction of on-chip wide-band spiral inductor model is developed in the paper. A MATLAB program is developed to accept the measured two-port S-parameters as input data and to calculate the parameter values of the spiral inductor model. The proposed algorithm shows excellent agreement with the measured data over the whole frequency range.
