Let m be any non-negetive integer, b(m) denotes the summation of base 10 digits of m. For any natrual x, and arbitrary fixed exponents k ∈ N let Δk(x) = Σ<;sub>m<;x<;/sub>bk(m). The main purpose of this paper is to study the calculating problem of Δk(x), and use combinational methods to deduce some exact formulas for it, which related the Stirling numbers.
