Abstract :
One technique used in mammogram interpretation is comparison to images of the same breast from previous screening exams. The authors define the problem of comparing corresponding images and present some methods for transforming, or warping, one of the images in a sequence to match another. Three different methods for mammogram image warping are introduced. The methods presented have been implemented and tested on a pair of images which are portions of two mammogram images of the same breast taken two years apart
