Abstract
Summary form only given. Gastrointestinal tract (GIT) autonomous electronic stimulators (AES) have been developed and used in clinical practice. The first modification of an AES GIT was intended basically for treatment after operational paresis and dynamic bowels impassability. However, during operation it was found out that the opportunities for AES GIT are much wider. This paper gives a broad outline of AES GIT functions and applications.
