Abstract :
The electric field caused by a slot type MW irradiator is pictured and analyzed. It is shown that in the direction normal to the slot irradiator the electric field is spread far from the edge of the irradiator, and in the direction along the slot the field is concentrated near the central part of the irradiator and does not spread much beyond the edge of the irradiator.
