Abstract
The capnometer is device for defining the concentration of carbon dioxide in a gas mix. Its optical block consists of: emitter, cuvette (chamber containing a researched gas mix), IF (interference filter) and photoreceiver. The cuvette plays an important role in the device. The important factors are length, volume, quality of processing of its surface and the materials of which it is made. In the given work, the question of determining the optimum cuvette length is examined.
