Abstract :
The paper refers to ultrafast fuse cartridges meant to protect both power semiconductor converters and power semiconductor devices against overloads and short-circuit fault conditions. This new type of fuse offers the possibility of modelling of the protection characteristic to provide the protection function of electrical apparatus used at the moment
