Abstract :
In this paper we propose a compact and wideband balun between a 50 ohms microstrip line and a 150 ohms coplanar stripline (CPS). Simulated results show that the proposed balun has a low insertion loss less than 1 dB within the observing frequency range of 20~40 GHz. This novel balun can be used as an available feeding element for dipole or Yagi antenna.
