Abstract :
The paper analyzes the saturation effects in digital extremum seeking circuits used for MPPT solutions, providing them dynamical reliability and allowing a better fitting of MPPT parameters. The paper reviews the digital extremum seeking control technique, applies it to a photovoltaic panel and establishes the adjusting criteria for a better performance of the MPPT solution. Some simulations and experimental results are provided to corroborate the approach.
