Abstract
Analysis and investigations on carrier-envelope noise, generating mechanisms in mode-locked laser oscillators are discussed. Understanding of these mechanisms is an important prerequisite for building jitter-free clockworks for frequency metrology and applications in extreme nonlinear optics.
