Abstract
In order to increase the biomedical data transportation efficiency of distributed medical databases and meet the demands of real-time process, we propose a parallel biomedical data transportation component to manage the datasets replicas and use four adaptive parallel transportation strategies within a distributed databases environment. This component makes better use of the bandwidth and storage of each server node in which stored the biomedical databases, the application in distributed breast cancer databases with this component shows remarkably higher data transportation efficiency than the comparative experiment without it.
