Abstract
An adaptive antenna based on the lattice algorithm is presented. The important feature of this algorithm is that it has a fast convergence compared with the performance of LMS applied in adaptive beamforming. Therefore, it can be used in received signal processing for an adaptive antenna array especially under multi-interference. A WCDMA uplink model is used to derive and simulate the antenna weights computation and performance. Results and performances of LMS and lattice least squares applied in adaptive antennas are presented and compared. The simulation results all show that this algorithm has good performance.
