Title :
A new filter method of CP and windowing in OFDM signals
fDate :
Oct. 31 2010-Nov. 3 2010
Abstract :
We introduce a new method of `inserting´ CP in this paper. This new method is called filter method since it is obtained as a result of interpreting the underlying pulse shaping filter being rectangular in time domain. However, in this filter method there is no explicit insertion and removal of CP. It is implicitly part of filtering process. The current practice of CP insertion may be interpreted as being a special case of the filter method. One immediate advantage of this filter method is that `windowing´ can be implemented as part of filtering as well. This paper is sequel to, and provides a way of implementing `windowing´ as well as CP in a `natural´ way.
