Abstract :
A systematic combination of the circuit elements to derive a new topology with low common mode noise is suggested in this paper. Conventionally, a majority of the new topology derivation or circuit refinement is fulfilled by changing a small part of the traditional circuits or adding extra circuits to them, which gives less insight to the new topology creation. The proposed combination method totally rearranges the circuit elements and finds new topologies, focusing on the basics of the topology - connections between the elements. The resultant H-bridge converter with the additional switches (HA converter) and its offspring circuits are proved to have low noise than their counterpart circuits by experiments.
