Abstract :
A microstrip patch antenna is a low profile, small size antenna which can be easily fabricated. In order to achieve multibands, sierpinski carpet geometry is employed on microstrip patch antennas. A microstrip sierpinski carpet antenna can be used in WLAN, Bluetooth, CDMA and WiMAX. In this paper we will examine the effects of position of transmission line, and find an optimum feed point for a microstrip sierpinski carpet antenna.
