Abstract :
Multiphasing of dc-dc converters is used as a method to downsize boost chopper circuits. This paper presents frequency characteristics of controller components as well as of the power circuit by analyzing the system using state-space averaging method in the case of applying average current mode control for multi-phase transformer linked boost chopper circuit. Furthermore, by using the analyzed frequency properties, the control system is designed. Experimental results validating the proposed method are presented.
