Abstract :
In this paper, the best place of wind turbine winds is evaluated in different sites in Iran. This assessment is done with considering different criteria to evaluate different sites. There are several criteria to evaluate our sites. These criteria are average wind speed, frequency of natural disasters, geological properties, geographic features and land cost. The evaluation is done based on these criteria using different MADM (Multi Attribute Decision Making) methods including SAW, PROMETHEE I and II. The new approach is introduced for ranking which is much more flexible than the conventional methods. Finally, the proposed model is evaluated, verified and the results discussed.
