Abstract
This paper presents a method for the analysis of printed antennas with inhomogeneous dielectrics. A mixed surface and volume integral equation is formulated and solved by applying the method of moments. Parallelepipeds and triangular cylinders are used to define volume basis functions. Computed return loss of a patch with inhomogeneous substrate are compared to and found to be in agreement with other calculation methods and measurements.
