Recently, as the economy developed to provide abundant lifestyle, the importance of design is becoming more and more critical. However, even though color is important, users are feeling difficulty in choosing and using colors since learning about colors requires a lot of time to understand the basics as well as go through training. Thus, in this paper, we propose the rules to systematize the basic theories regarding color harmony. For this purpose, we classify the Ostwald color harmony theory into five categories according to the characteristics of the color pyramid based on the NCS. Our proposed Classification Rules for Binary color Combination in NCS will further provide the foundation for various color combinations and will be merged with Color Recommendation System based on Preference in the near future.
