Abstract
An Expert System of Wheat Cultivation Management (ESWCM) has been developed to simulate expert problem-solving in wheat cultivation management (WCM) and to make decisions and recommendations for farmers, workers, and administrators. ESWCM consists of a database (DB), a knowledge base (KB), a model base (MB), an inference engine (IE) and a user interface (ICU). ESWCM consists of decision aids integrated with optimal cultivar choice, sowing date and density, plant population, fertilizer and water application, weeds, insects and disease control. ESWCM could also help farmers to analyze the economic effects of agronomical practices
