Abstract :
A hardware implementation for the simulated annealing optimization method has been developed and a prototype has been constructed. This implementation is a general purpose hardware tool for multivariable optimization tasks and it is the first one of its kind. The architecture of the device and its usage for supervised training of neural network hardware is described
